Learn how to grant staff access to your business using PDK

Your customers access your gym using the Gymflow Members app, while staff access the gym using the PDK app. Follow the steps below to set up a staff access group and add your first staff member.

Step 1: Set Up a Staff Access Group

Before adding staff members, you'll need to create a group that defines which doors they can access.

  1. Navigate to your PDK dashboard and click Groups

  2. Click Add a group

  3. Enter a name for your group (e.g. "Staff Access") and click Add

  4. Click Add Rules, then click Add Devices and select the doors you want staff to have access to.

  5. Click Save

Step 2: Add a Staff Member

Once your access group is ready, you can add staff members and assign them to it.

  1. In your PDK dashboard, click People

  2. Click Add Person

  3. Enter the staff member's first name, last name, and email address

  4. Scroll down to the Credentials section and click Add Credential

  5. Select the Mobile tab and click Submit (this sends the staff member a mobile credential for the PDK app)

  6. Scroll down to the Groups section and click Add to Group

  7. Select the staff group you created in Step 1 and click Submit

The staff member will receive an email from PDK with instructions on how to download the PDK app and log in.
