Gymflow supports a variety of payment methods depending on how the purchase is made — whether a member is buying online via the app or website, or a staff member is processing an in-club sale through the Staff Portal.
🧑💻 Payment Methods for Members (Online/App Purchases)
In most cases the user will be paying online and will add a payment to their account which will be saved for future use.
When doing so via Gymflow app or website, they can add their payment method using one of the following online methods:
Entering a Credit/Debit Card
Link Wallet
Google Pay
Apple Pay
These payment options are built-in and require no additional setup.
🛒 Payment Methods for In-Club Purchases
When staff sell something in person through the Staff Portal, they can choose from two types of payment methods:
1. 💳 Online Payment
This option lets you process a payment using the member’s saved credit or debit card or add a new one.
Coming soon: We’re adding support for Direct Debit/ACH payments, which will let members pay directly from their bank accounts. We’ll let you know as soon as this feature is live!
2. 🤝 In-Person Payment
This option lets you record payments that are made by cash, cheque, transfer or terminal.
If you want to see this option at checkout, you need to enable it:
Head to Settings
Navigate to the Payment Methods tab
Toggle on the option to accept in person payments
To use in person payments at checkout once enabled, simply choose "In Person" at the regular staff checkout screen.
📊Tracking Payment Methods
The Revenue Reports include a column showing the payment method used for each transaction. To see them, navigate to Reports > Revenue and click "View Report" for any of the reports in the Sales Summary Section.
