If you are capturing leads effectively you're going to end up with hundreds, if not thousands of enquiries over time. Tracking these effectively can significantly improve your sale performance, through diligent follow and correct categorisation and re-targeting.
Your Lead Pipeline is an easy way to visually see where each of your leads are at in your sales process and what action you need to take next.
Understand Your Lead Pipeline
Each column in your sales pipeline reflects the lead status, your account will come with a default set of statuses that can be customised as you like.
Here are the default statuses and how they could be used:
New Lead: Fresh leads that havent been actioned yet
Attempted Contact: You have tried but havent made contact yet
Contacted: You have successfully contact the lead but havent progressed
Trial: The lead is trialling your businesses services
New Lead and Trial Status cant be change as they are required by the system but you can change all other parts of the flow.
Create Your Own Statuses
To create your own pipeline flow:
Navigate to the Leads Page
Click Add Step
Name your Step, this will become a new lead status
Drag and drop the column into the order you prefer
You can also re-name, re-order and delete statuses at any time, provided there are no leads within that status at the time.
We suggest building a pipeline that has a natural flow for your business type and that capture the main stages only and not granular actions, these will be covered when you start using tasks.
