Users in Gymflow are automatically segmented into three distinct user types, so it's easy to identify what type of user you are dealing with. These three user types are leads, leads with no account, customers and members.

A user will change user type automatically as their status changes, for instance when a member's membership expires they will become a customer.

Leads

A lead is a prospective customer or member. They have either never made a purchase or they have purchased one of your trial offers.

Leads are prime targets for ongoing marketing and promotion in attempts to convert them into customers or members.

Leads are added through one of the following ways:

  • Filling out an enquiry form (also referred to as a lead capture form).

  • Filling out the guest registration form.

  • Manually being added by a staff member from the Lead's page.

  • The lead themselves created a Gymflow account in the mobile app but have not yet purchased anything.

Lead - No Account

Leads that don't have accounts cannot log into the Gymflow Members app. You can choose to setup their account at any time, which will send them an account setup email with instructions on how to create their password.

Lead

Standard leads have a full account and password, which means they're able to log into the Gymflow Members app and make purchases themselves.

Customer

A customer is someone who has purchased something from you but does not currently have an active membership. For example this could be a user who has purchased a credit pack, product or had once had a membership that has since expired.

Member

A member is someone with any membership that is currently active, paused, overdue or pending. If their membership is cancelled or expires, they will automatically become a customer.
