Access is fully integrated into the Gymflow Members app as well as all custom-branded members apps. The Kisi app cannot be used by Gymflow members to access the club.

Prerequisites

  1. A Gymflow account, typically created when purchasing a membership

  2. An active membership that permits access

Setup Access

  1. Download the Gymflow Members app and sign in to their account

  2. Go to the profile page and click on the Access tab and grant permission for the app to use both Bluetooth and location, location must be set to "always allow".

Opening Doors

Depending on the permissions, device and type of Kisi reader you have installed the following options are available for opening doors:

  • Waive to unlock: Only available for iPhones with Bluetooth enabled, requires Kisi Reader Pro 2.

  • Tap to unlock: Available to iPhones with Bluetooth enabled and Android phones with NFC enabled

  • Push button to unlock: Available to any device with location permissions granted.

Errors & Alerts

The access page in Gymflow's member app provides a wealth of information to the user. Should they not be able to access the door this is the first port of call to determine what action needs to be taken. Common issues include:

  • "Access Denied" error, generally related to location permission not allowed when using the "push button to unlock".

  • NFC or Bluetooth switched off

Issues unrelated to the setup of the App can also include:

  • Membership payment missed

  • Membership has not yet started

  • Membership Paused

  • Membership payment not authorised

There are self-service actions built into the app to allow users to action these alerts and regain access on demand.
