What Are Leads

Leads are potential customers that browsed your website, saw your instagram, read your deals and still did not have information or confidence to make a purchase or booking online.

This can be several reason including:

  • Needs more information

  • Whats to speak to someone first, particularly common in high value personal services like Personal Training

  • Wasn't sure about the price

There is an assumption that if someone doesn't purchase online that they aren't interested and to try to convince them it might be considered intrusive.

Provided you have a good amount of information about your products and services available online, this isn't the case, someone people just prefer more of a personal touch.

Why You Should Care About Leads

Think about all the time, effort and money you spend to:

  • Build your website

  • Create content for your social channels

  • Drive traffic to your website using paid ads

The sum of all of this effort in time and money is outputs people that fall into three buckets:

  1. New Sales

  2. New Leads

  3. Un-Interested

The vast majority of businesses focus only on the first bucket and neglect the second bucket "New Leads".

When you consider that every interaction on your website typically happens due to some sort of cost to your business, to neglect these lead is a terrible waste of money and resources.

Better Customer Service & Sales

Business that focus on both new sales and new leads typically convert 30% more sales than business that do not.

Ontop of this they are review better by those that use their services due to the more attentive nature of the staff during the early process of the sale.
