What are members only offerings?
Members-Only Offerings let you designate specific classes, appointments, memberships or credit packs. These offerings won’t be visible or accessible to the general public, making them a fantastic way to highlight the perks of membership and encourage more sign-ups.
It's easy to make a product or service Members Only, but toggling on the options when creating the product or service, these options can be found when creating:
Memberships
Credit Packs
Products
Classes
Appointments
Who Qualifies as a Member?
For this feature, a "member" is anyone with an active subscription—recurring or pre-paid—whose status is not listed as "Cancelled" or "Expired." This means your loyal clients with ongoing memberships, whether monthly, annual, or pre-paid plans, get access to these special offerings.
How you could utilize this?
Picture this: You run a gym with 200 gym-only members, 200 gym-and-class members, and a bunch of clients who buy class packages. To push membership sales, you offer 3 exclusive, high-demand classes each week—available only to members with active subscriptions. Here’s the impact:
Rewards Members: Your subscribed members feel valued with access to premium sessions, boosting their loyalty.
Drives Sales: When someone considers a class pass, you can say, “Members get 20 classes a week, including 10 exclusive ones, while non-members only get 20.” It’s a no-brainer to join!
EXAMPLE: Create a members only class
One of the best ways to make the most of the Members-Only Offerings feature is by creating exclusive classes and events that non-members won’t have access to. This not only adds value to your membership but also fosters a sense of community and exclusivity. Let’s explore this use case through the example of creating a members-only yoga workshop
The first thing you need to do is create a Class. Navigate to Settings > Classes and click the “+Class” button. You’ll need to create a name for your class, add a customer facing description and make sure that the Available for Members Only toggle is ON:
2. In Gymflow, credits are needed to book classes, so the next thing you need to create is a Credit Pack that will be linked to your exclusive workshop. To do this, go to Settings > Credits and click the “+Credit Pack” button. Fill out the fields for the name of the credit pack, its category, price, etc.
3. The next thing on the list is adding your class to the calendar. Adding the class is as easy as going to Calendar, clicking on any time slot and filling out the details. There are certain things that need to be set up in the system first, though. Please check this article and make sure that you have set everything up correctly.
You exclusive workshop is now ready to be booked by members of your club 🥳
