What are credit packs?

Credit packs are blocks of credits that users can purchase and use to book classes or appointments, such as group exercise classes or personal training sessions. They are an essential component for offering paid classes at your gym, allowing users to pay for and secure their spots in these sessions.

How credit packs work

When a user owns a credit pack they can book anything that has the same category as the credit pack. There are two types of categories, class categories and appointment categories, you only need to user different categories when you need to create restrictions e.g you dont want a user to book a personal training session if the only own class credits.

When a class booking is made the credit for booking is automatically deducted at time of booking. For appointments this will depend on how you setup your appointment types.

If a booking is cancelled the credit is automatically returned unless it was cancelled late. You can define what you determine to be late in your clubs rule for late cancellations.

You can sell credit packs to user in multiple ways:

Individual Sale

You can offer credit packs for sale as a standalone item, the pack will typically expire after a time you set.

Membership Inclusion

You can choose to bundle credit packs with your memberships allowing the holder of the members the same booking rights. When bundled the expiry of the pack is controlled by the members.
