In Gymflow you can share a membership with multiple users. This allows you to sell a membership for couples or families.

Share memberships function as follows:

  • Every membership has a primary member.

  • Only the primary member pays for the membership; linked members do not pay anything for the membership.

  • If the primary membership is cancelled, all of the linked accounts will also lose access.

Share a membership with another user

To share an active membership with another user account:

  1. Go to the user's profile and then to the Membership tab.

  2. Select the + symbol next to the user's initials.

  3. Search for the user you want to link to the membership and select them from the dropdown list.

  4. Select Confirm.

Once shared the same membership that the primary member has will be given to the linked member at zero charge. This includes any membership inclusions such as credit packs for classes e.g The Primary membership has 5 classes per month included, the linked member will also get 5 classes per month. Entitlements are not shared between accounts.

Remove a user from a shared membership

If you want to remove a secondary user who has been shared a membership without cancelling the main membership itself, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the profile of the shared member (you can also do this by clicking their initials from the main membership card).

  2. Go to the Membership tab.

  3. Select Cancel and Confirm.

The user will now be un-shared and removed from the main membership, but the primary membership itself will not be cancelled.

Increase the cost of shared membership

Sharing a membership with another user will give them the same membership but for no additional charge. If you wish to increase the cost of the membership––for instance because you're adding an extra user to it––you can do this by editing the price of the main membership.

For instance, you could have a family membership where each child costs an extra $20. When a new child account is added to the main membership, you could then increase the price of that membership by $20 to account for this.
