Add or remove a joining fee

A joining fee is a one-off amount charged when the membership is first sold. You can rename it (for example to Enrolment Cost) using the pencil icon next to its name.

Add a membership joining fee

To add a joining fee:

1. Go to Settings > Setup > Memberships.

2. Create a new membership and go to the Pricing step, or select the pencil icon on an existing membership and then the pencil icon on its Pricing section.

3. Turn on the Joining Fee toggle.

4. Enter the Ex Tax Price or Inc Tax Price. The joining fee must be more than 0.

5. Select Next (new membership) or Save (existing membership).

Remove a membership joining fee

To remove a joining fee from a membership:

1. Go to Settings > Setup > Memberships.

2. Select the pencil icon on the membership, then the pencil icon on its Pricing section.

3. Turn off the Joining Fee toggle and select Save.

Change the price of a joining fee

To change the price of a joining fee:

1. Go to Settings > Setup > Memberships.

2. Select the pencil icon on the membership, then the pencil icon on its Pricing section.

3. Change the joining fee amount and select Save.
