If you would like members to manage their cancellations to save time you can enable self-service membership cancellations in the Members App.
To turn on In-App Cancellations
Head to Settings > Rules
Scroll down to see the rule Self Service Membership Cancellation
Turn "Allow Cancellations" to Yes
Set how much notice you would like members to give and press "Save"
All cancellations are processed at the end of the billing period to ensure that no refunds are required.
Understand Cancellation Notice Period
"No Notice Period" will allow members to cancel at the end of their current billing period, 1 notice period or more will mean they will only be able to select the end of the following billing period and so on, this means they will have additional payments before cancelling.
We confirm with the member when their last payment will be and when they will still be able to use their membership when they cancel.
Memberships that have a contract term cannot be cancelled until after their contract term finishes.
Email Confirmation of Cancellation
Optionally if you have membership cancellation automations turned on they will also get an email confirmation when they schedule their cancellation as well as when it cancels.
