Understanding how your clients will interact with your product is important so you can help them along their journey if need be.

At Gymflow our goal is to remove as much friction from your client purchase flow as possible, in order to increase the percentage of users that complete purchases and bookings on your site (often called conversions).

This flow is dependent on who the user is and falls into two categories:

  1. New Users

  2. Exiting Users

New User Purchase Flow

The workflow for a new user to make a purchase is under 60 seconds and optimised for mobile and desktop purchases.

  1. User selects memberships or package, also agreeing the package terms.

  2. User enters email and creates account, also agreeing the clubs waiver and terms.

  3. User adds payment method and completes purchase.

After completing the purchase the user will be re-directed to a page of your choice - see this article about best practices for re-directs.

Where enabled the user can use Apple or Google pay to add their card speeding up the process further!

Existing User Purchase Flow

The workflow for an existing user to make a purchase is less than 15 seconds and optimised for mobile and desktop purchases.

  1. User selects memberships or package.

  2. User confirms purchase at checkout on existing card.

If the user is not signed in, it will ask for their email and password after selecting an item. They can add additional payment methods at any time from the checkout.

Product Purchase Flow

Buying products from your website shop works slightly differently, so customers can shop before committing to an account:

  1. Customer browses your products and adds items to their cart. No sign-in is needed to browse.

  2. At checkout, the customer signs in or creates an account. Their cart is kept, and member prices are applied automatically if they are a member.

  3. Customer adds or selects a payment method and completes the purchase.

  4. Customer sees an order confirmation with a summary of their order and pickup instructions.

The order is created with the status Pending and the customer can track it in My Orders. When they collect their items, staff mark the order as fulfilled. See Sell Products on Your Website & Members App for details.
